About Us

First established with an on-line presence in 2004, the 2010 Commerce Centre informs, educates and connects businesses and communities to economic opportunities created by the Vancouver 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. As an initiative of the BC 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat, the 2010 Commerce Centre assists companies to develop new skills and business relationships that will lead to increased trade and investment prior to and long after the Games.

In April 2007, the 2010 Commerce Centre opened its offices at Robson Square in Vancouver's central business district. As the hub of business activity related to the 2010 Winter Games, the 2010 Commerce Centre delivers a number of core services including: connecting businesses to Games-related opportunities; assisting businesses to build capacity through a series of 2010 workshops and business events; and providing a forum for businesses to develop new relationships that will lead to expanded trade and investment opportunities.
