2010 Business Network Opportunities Guidelines

  • The 2010 Commerce Centre, 2010 Business Network, and 2010 Business Network Opportunities program are the responsibility of the BC 2010 Olympic & Paralympic Winter Games Secretariat (BC Secretariat).
  • All postings are subject to approval by the 2010 Commerce Centre. Please allow one business day for approval.
  • The BC Secretariat reserves the exclusive right to withhold any submission from posting in 2010 Business Network Opportunities at its sole discretion and without recourse.
  • Only 2010 Business Network members have the ability to post opportunities, which must be related to their company.
  • Postings should specify an appropriate company contact person ready to deal with proposals and inquiries. If no contact is specified, the contact listed in the 2010 Business Network profile will be the default.
  • 2010 Business Network Opportunities should be (at minimum) directly or indirectly related to the 2010 Winter Games or a large sporting event.
  • 2010 Business Network Opportunities cannot be used to sell goods or services.
  • Postings can be removed on demand by the posting 2010 Business Network member.
  • 2010 Business Network Opportunities will be automatically removed from Current Opportunities at the specified closing date. If no closing date is specified, postings will be automatically removed after 40 days.
  • The BC Secretariat does not endorse 2010 Business Network members or 2010 Business Network Opportunities. The BC Secretariat does conduct rigorous pre-screening in an effort to maintain quality standards, but this does not eliminate the need for companies to conduct their own due diligence in investigating potential partner companies or opportunities. How to Post an Opportunity

  • If you are not a member of the 2010 Business Network, please register here.
  • Members can click on Account Login and log into your account with your BCeID username and password.
  • At the 'My 2010CC Profile' page, click on Submit a new opportunity in the 2010 Business Network section.
  • Enter the details of your business opportunity by using the online form; be specific about what you are looking for and provide appropriate contact information.
  • Click Save when finished, you will receive email confirmations when your opportunity has been successfully submitted and when approved for posting.
